GF Hardwoods has been in business over 25 years. We manufacture and sell kiln dry materials. We also offer some products air dried or green. Our company is known for giving a quality product with consistent color and on time delivery. We do this by providing a one-on-one relationship with our experienced sales force, who listen to and respond to our customers needs in a timely fashion. We supply dependable products by using the best quality hardwood lumber available from the Appalachian Region which is manufactured from start to finish exclusively on our facility.

All the material we produce comes from our five company owned sawmills. All lumber is double end trimmed, packaged in five length seperations, with footage cards on each bundle so you can be assured the footage you'll be invoiced for is correct.

We recognize the importance of consistent drying procedures in kiln dried lumber. Our kiln capacity is 600,000 board feet and is computer controlled by Lignomat Systems. It is our goal to make sure your material is 6 to 8 percent and properly conditioned and stress relieved. We have three NHLA inspectors on staff with over 25 years experience between them. This means you will get the best possible yields from our product. This will save you money.
